Ralph C. Hughes
Mr. Hughes founded GLOBAL ENTERPRISES in 1989 and has built it
into a multi-million dollar company. Before graduating with Honors
from the University of Arizona, he was the president of the University’s
chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, the men’s Business Fraternity.
He was also a member of Beta Alpha Psi, the National Accounting
Honorary Society. Mr. Hughes joined the Central Intelligence Agency
in 1965 and had an outstanding career in the Operations Directorate,
where he specialized in Middle Eastern operations. He was the
chief of a number of Agency offices abroad and he held senior
positions at the Agency’s Headquarters. He retired from
the CIA in 1989.
VICE PRESIDENT
Edward J. Tomas
Upon completion of his B.S. degree in Criminal Justice, Mr. Tomas
entered the U.S. Marine Corps, Officer Candidate School. After
receiving an Honorable Discharge, Mr. Tomas began his career in
law enforcement. Mr. Tomas commenced with a local police department,
and then progressed to the Hunterdon County Prosecutors office
as a Supervising Investigator in charge of Narcotics. He later
assumed the position of State Investigator in charge of Technical
Operations for the elite New Jersey Statewide Organized Crime,
Narcotics and Racketeering Task Force.
Mr. Tomas then accepted a position with the Central Intelligence
Agency as an Intelligence Officer supporting worldwide operations.
In this position Mr. Tomas gained significant experience involving
the application of human, photographic and technical intelligence
resources in support of hostage rescue, counterterrorism, security,
counter narcotics, intelligence and matters relating to national
security.
DIRECTOR OF TRAINING
Thomas E. Williams
Mr. Williams comes to Global with extensive experience in Surveillance,
Reconnaissance, Intelligence Acquisition, Close-Protection and
Special Operations. He began his career as a member of the U.S.
Marine Corps Elite Reconnaissance (RECON) Units and served as
a Staff Officer in support of the U.S. Governments counter-narcotics
and counter-terrorism initiatives.
Mr. Williams has broad experience in security program management
and is formerly the Director of Field Operations and Training
for Security Management International, Inc. A recognized expert
in specialized security and protective operations, Mr. Williams
has developed and implemented several international security related
programs directed at reducing risk in high threat environments.
Additionally, Mr. Williams has managed numerous specialized training
and support programs both domestically and overseas. He is a member
of the Force Recon Association, a charter member of the Interagency
Operational Security Activity and is a life member of the Veterans
of Foreign Wars (VFW).
DIRECTOR of SALES and MARKETING
James Blottman
Mr. Blottman served in the United States Marine Corps for eight
years. After successfully completing his enlistment and receiving
an honorable discharge, Mr. Blottman earned a Bachelors Degree
in Business Administration from Chaminade University of Hawaii.
Mr. Blottman’s business career started with Ricoh Business
Systems as an Account Executive. His role within Ricoh expanded
into Sales Management where he eventually moved into the position
of Director of National Accounts, New York City. Mr. Blottman
has an extensive background in office automation with business
equipment, electronic content management, sales management and
negotiations. In addition he is a member of the Marine Corps League.
Mr. Blottman comes to GLOBAL as Director of Sales and Marketing.
